Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Your safari begins in Arusha where your private guide welcomes you and sets off toward Tarangire National Park. The journey takes you through picturesque landscapes before opening up into the park, a sanctuary famed for its vast herds of elephants and ancient baobab trees. You spend the day exploring the park’s sweeping plains, where lions, leopards, giraffes, buffalo, and countless bird species thrive. By evening, you arrive at your luxury lodge overlooking the wilderness. Here, sundowners are served as the golden light fades, followed by a gourmet dinner under the African sky.

Day 2: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you leave Tarangire behind and travel through the dramatic Great Rift Valley and the lush Ngorongoro Highlands on your way to the Serengeti. Arriving by early afternoon, the endless plains of Africa’s most iconic park stretch before you. Your first Serengeti game drive introduces you to the rhythm of this vast wilderness, where the Great Migration may be unfolding, or resident big cats prowl in search of prey. As dusk approaches, you settle into your luxury camp or lodge in the heart of the Serengeti, where fine dining, attentive service, and the sounds of the wild combine to create an unforgettable evening.

Day 3: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

The day begins with a sunrise game drive, one of the best times to witness predators in action and wildlife awakening in the soft morning light. After a leisurely breakfast, you depart the Serengeti, driving across sweeping plains and stopping en route for a picnic lunch. A visit to Olduvai Gorge, one of the world’s most important paleoanthropological sites, can be included along the way. By late afternoon, you arrive at the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater. Your luxury lodge, perched high above the caldera, offers sweeping views into the heart of this natural wonder. The evening is spent savoring elegant dining and reflecting on the day’s discoveries.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

At dawn, you descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s most extraordinary safari destinations. The crater floor is home to an astonishing density of wildlife, including elephants, lions, buffalo, and the rare black rhino, along with flocks of flamingos and pods of hippos. After a morning of exploration and a picnic lunch beside a hippo pool, you ascend from the crater and begin your return journey to Arusha. By late afternoon, you arrive back in the city, where your safari comes to an end with a transfer to your hotel or onward flight.
